Diacritical Conversion

Schizaeopsis E. W. Berry, Ann. Bot. (London) 25: 194. Jan 1911.
T.: S. expansa (Fontaine) E. W. Berry (Baieropsis expansa Fontaine)
Baieropsis Fontaine 1889 (by lectotypification)
Fertile frond; Lower Cretaceous; Fredericksburg, Virginia, U.S.A.
Even though according to Knowlton (Bull. U.S. Geol. Surv. 696: 586. 1920) only a part of B. expansa belongs to Schizaeopsis, Berry in 1911 clearly included all of B. expansa in his n. comb. S. expansa; Berry's illustration "of the type" resembles Fontaine's t. 89, f. 1.
