The herbarium sheets are catalogued by number and detail the taxonomic, geographic, and collection data for each specimen (including cross-references to the applicable support collections and the computerized inventory database). In addition to the herbarium sheets, the Museum's collection contains over 70,000 specimens on microscope slides, in boxes, or in the liquid-preserved collection. Counts do not include the Adey Corallines or the Abbott Hawaii collections.
