Description:
Small acaulescent herbs with leaves and inflorescences on separate shoots, inflorescence simple. Cymule evidently dolichoblastic, interphyll and bracteoles absent. Corolla tube ± equalling the lobes (ca. 10 times longer than wide); outer staminodes 2, slightly unequal, petaloid; cucullate starninode with a short, flat appendage near base of lobe; ovary with 3 ovulate locules.
